Eric Clapton Guildford, Civic Hall - December 7th, 1978 This is a special night: Eric used to play the last gig of his tours in this small venue not so distant from his home in Surrey; he did so in 1978, 1983, 1985 and 1988 (and I am going to seed 1983 and 1985 too). All of these nights were special in terms of set list and/or guests on stage: in this recording you can find Muddy Waters, George Harrison and Elton John all together on the same stage for the encorer : Ok, you can' t tell they are there as you cannot hear them (maybe some piano by Elton and guitar by George), but you know they were there !!! The quality is not excellent, but I think it is worth the download for the importance of the event. You can find some artwork here (thanks Mark): http://www.geetarz.org/reviews/clapton/homecoming.htm or here http://www.geetarz.org/reviews/clapton/ripleys-son.htm but please note that I am NOT seeding these bootlegs, I am seeding a second generation recording stored on my TDK-AD tapes I got from a well known UK collector about 20 years ago Disc 1: Loving You is Sweeter Than Ever Worried Life Blues Badge Tulsa Time Early in the Morning Wonderful Tonight Disc 2: Crossroads Cocaine Double Trouble Layla Hey Baby > Sad Sad Day (with Muddy Waters) Further On Up the Road (With G. Harrison, E. John and (?) M. Waters)
